Your child is in her last year of high school and there are so many things that need to be done in a very short amount of time. Her senior pictures are probably one of the most important tasks on your list and you want to make sure they are of the highest quality and that they reflect her personality and accomplishments. Green Bay WI photographers will be happy to help you with your teen's photos and can provide you with a variety of film expertise.

Check with local photographers and find out which ones do quality high school photos. Many will just specialize in weddings and in children's portraits. Others may be willing to do almost any type of photo which may lessen their expertise in the one area you are looking for. Look for a photographer who does a large amount of high school photos and that seems to be known among other students.

Ask family and friends for photographer suggestions. Many of them may have used these professionals for their own teens. Inquire as to the pricing, turnaround time, hidden expenses, and the number of photos that are included. Be sure to review the photos to ensure that they are exactly what you are seeking.

When you narrow down those photographers you are interested in, view samples of their work. Check the different poses and backgrounds they use as well as the attention to detail and color. You can do this online or you can visit their offices and go through their portfolios.

Be sure to ask about the pricing structure and everything that it includes. You should be informed as to how many wardrobe changes, locations and looks are included in the package. The length of the session should also be included. The client also needs to be very clear as to the specific shots that are necessary to eliminate any frustrations and time for both parties. Everything should be in specific detail and in writing before shooting commences.

Accompany your teen to the shoots to make sure all details agreed upon are adhered to. Assist with her clothing changes, hair and makeup to help keep the shoot on schedule. If it is in your budget, you may even wish to hire a professional makeup artist and have her on hand to make sure everything is absolutely perfect.

Examine the proofs carefully before making final selections. Choose the photos that best reflect your child's personality and what the different purposes of the photos are. You may need a pose for a large display photos, one for the inside of her class announcements, and another for her to give to her friends. The number you select will depend on the variety of different poses as well as your budget. Often the photographer will include the DVD or CD of photos in the price and you can print out whatever you like at your leisure.

When you make the right decision as to which photographer to use, you will end up with a quality array of portraits and photos that can be viewed over and over again for years. Place your teen's portrait where visitors and family can see it often. It should be a masterpiece that you will be so proud to display to friends and family over and over again.
